The Keepsake Co - SimoneI had an absolutely amazing time travelling around Australia and Thailand where I met an array of people from all different cultures and countries. Here I met lots of women, and some men, wearing amazing handmade creations to which I looked at in amazement and awe. I thought to myself 'I can do that!'

When I arrived back home I knew in my heart that making jewellery is what I want to do. I set about searching for a franchise at first to help me get started, but then I thought why give over most of my earnings to another company, it’ll be like working for a corporation again. This was when I came across The Keepsake Co. After looking over the site and speaking with Sam on the phone, whom I immediately built a rapport with, I knew that these were the ladies who would help me on my journey.

Apart from the amazing support received from Sam, Victoria and Pippa I also have the support from the 50 other ladies who are also in the Association! In my first few months, and still now, whenever I need a question answered, which sometimes, is a lot, the ladies in the group are there ready to share their advice and expertise. This alone makes me feel apart of something really special! If ever I need a one to one with any of The Keepsake Co ladies all I need to do is ask.

I’ve achieved so much in such a short space of time, I have a fully functioning website which The Keepsake Co have helped to design and build and trained me on adding content whenever I need to. Plus now I know how to properly take photographs of my finished pieces due to the various master classes that The Keepsake Co put on for us. Obviously this has enhanced my overall image and really helped with my branding.

The future is looking very colourful for me as I have lots of ideas I wish to take further. I’m now a student at the School of Jewelley in the infamous Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham where I will develop and grow as a new designer and jewellery maker. So thank you The Keepsake Co for getting me started on this amazing adventure, I’m having a ball so far!
