Tutor In A Box know that running a tutoring business can be very different to being a great teacher. That’s why they're here to help!
Tutor In A Box have been running their award-winning children's tutoring business for years. They have tried different systems and fine-tuned what works, what’s efficient, and what takes the stress away from you.
When you invest in a children's tutoring franchise with Tutor In A Box, they will share all their expertise and experience with you.
Tutor In A Box are passionate about helping people feel good about their education. Their vision is that every student in the UK passes their Maths and English GCSE exam first time. They truly believe that with the right support, everyone is capable of this.
The way franchisees teach is to empower students at every age to enjoy learning. They believe that when students are inspired to learn, they will choose to learn, rather than being forced to. They want students to become actively engaged in different subjects and interests.
Tutor In A Box don't tell you how to teach or provide you with hundreds of worksheets for students to do sheet after sheet - after all, you know what you're doing! Instead they provide resources and guidance to help you bring out the best in your students.
The ideal Tutor In A Box Franchisee is someone who either knows or loves the education sector. They may be a current teacher / TA leaving the profession or they may just be someone who is really passionate about children's education.
You don’t need to have a dedicated property to operate from. You can work in students homes, your own home or even online.
Franchisees will be responsible for marketing their business and either tutoring themselves or managing a team of tutors to deliver the tuition. Tutor In A Box will also provide marketing support on an ongoing basis which will also generate incoming leads for the franchisee.
One of the biggest benefits of franchising is ongoing support and assistance from Sophie herself. You will be given access to her on a weekly basis for an hour at a time for the first year, after which, you will have monthly calls with her.
A Tutor In A Box Franchise does not require you to have any physical premises (or staff) and provide you with suggested pricing. There’s a reason franchises see higher profits than independently established businesses.
You will receive help setting up your Tutoring Franchise Business. Tutor In A Box will be there every step of the way and will support you from the beginning to the end. From the initial phone calls and discussions, to training and continued support through 1-1s and team days.
Tutor In A Box believe a franchise is an investment – and there’s no denying it’s a big one! They reckon you're investing into your future both with time and money, and so it's important it’s the right one.
There are two fees involved with their franchise – there’s an initial, one-off upfront payment and then an ongoing monthly fee. They have purposefully made it affordable.
The initial one-off charge is £2,500 and that’s an upfront charge to set you up. It includes their initial training days, the key marketing materials and of course their wonderful yellow t-shirt and hoodie!
After that, there is an ongoing regular monthly fee. They'll provide you with full details of potential earnings, including suggested costs per hour in addition to an anticipated number of students following your initial enquiry.
I honestly cannot rave enough about how amazingly supportive the company is! Thank you very much for all of the amazing support.
I’ve loved the chance to spread my wings and use my initiative and skills. I feel bigger. That probably sounds bananas, but it’s true.
I really feel as though I’ve had a chance to blossom again with your support after having my confidence somewhat squished in my last job.
