With a strong background in marketing, executive coaching, and strategic development, James has spent his career working with senior leaders and ambitious businesses focused on sustainable growth.
Now, by joining activ, he’s expanding his offering to include the full-service capabilities of a national agency – without the burden of building it from scratch.
James first met the activ team at Ideas Fest 2024, where a shared passion for creativity, innovation and business-building quickly revealed a natural alignment. “James is a brilliant addition to activ,” said Katie Bullon, CEO of activ Marketing. “He’s got that special mix of strategic thinking and down-to-earth approachability that clients love. We’re so excited to support his journey and already know he’ll play a big role in the network as it grows even further.”
After officially joining earlier this month, James wasted no time getting involved. He attended activ’s recent Annual Franchise Forum in Cardiff, where he quickly became a standout contributor, sharing insights, supporting fellow franchisees, and embracing the collaborative culture that defines activ. Speaking about his decision to join the franchise, James Gentle said: “After years of working in marketing and coaching, I wanted to offer more, without building an entire agency from scratch. Meeting the activ team at Ideas Fest last year was the turning point. The structure, the support and the energy of the team felt like the perfect fit. I’m excited to launch and bring much-needed marketing services to the local community”.
James’ official business launch is now in motion, with plans to go live in the coming weeks. He joins a growing network of franchisees who benefit from activ’s proven systems, national brand presence, and extensive training and support. This latest appointment is another milestone in activ’s mission to reshape the way marketing professionals build and scale their businesses.
