2021 is already off to incredible start for all Award Leisure stores! We are incredibly happy to announce that have just signed another franchisee in Newcastle. We are so excited to welcome another determined, motivated and passionate member to the family.
The current pandemic can put in place a glass ceiling for some business owners making it even harder to grow and be successful. With a dedicated team working on marketing, online presence and innovating new ways to tap into consumer groups we are pleased that we are looking at a 40% increase on sales since this time last year.
Our owned stores and franchisees have worked increasingly hard during these times to not only keep growing but also to support each other and employees during these uncertain times as well as adapting and working with a new brand.
Our owned stores have seen some amazing enhancements, starting of the year strong and ready for when showrooms are able to reopen. Our St. Albans store has moved into a new premises with a new floor and new showroom art work to offer a customer a transformed customer experience.
Our Cambridge showroom has seen delays in 2020 due to the pandemic, but as many businesses in the last 12 months we have persevered, and we are excited to open this amazing space to the public once the government guidelines allow us to do so. This new store is our biggest showroom to date with a huge outside and inside space offering the full luxury leisure experience for customer to view and start their Award Leisure journey.
Since the relaunch of the Franchise Proposition, we have seen a massive wave of interest from all areas of the country wanting to partner with Award Leisure to learn more about our Franchise and Dealer opportunities.
Having 8 showrooms across the UK, we have masses of experience in helping new and aspiring business owners become successful hot tub retailers with 35 years’ experience within this sector.
From the initial start-up, Award Leisure offered extensive support and training in all key factors of the business; sales, service, system. This includes one to one training with the National Sales Manager, a complete guide on how to use the CRM and Epos till system. We also shadowed experiences and qualified engineers to be shown how to complete an install and a thorough service of a hot tub.

Once my first 5-year franchise agreement comes to end, I wish to extend my franchise agreement and open a second store from the profits I’ve made.
