West-Scotland based Auditel Affiliate Sean Connaughton is already enjoying the impact of carbon solutions as part of Auditel’s core client offering, as an educational webinar event led to nearly 100 attendees. This significant interest in utilising Auditel’s services, which could lead to a large volume of new client opportunities.
Entitled “Carbon Neutral does not need to cost the Earth for your business“, Sean created a webinar event and promoted this in LinkedIn and by email, inviting local organisations and business leaders to understand the key questions that many business leaders are currently contemplating, such as:
The impact of the event was significant, with over 70 different business leaders and decision makers within the audience. The content was especially engaging, as the viewer count remained constant through the hour-long webinar.
Sean enlisted the support of Rob Allison, Auditel Director, in delivering the main carbon presentation and assist in the Q&A session that followed along with Mark Miller who is a leading certification and emissions specialist, that was very well received.
Sean explains “I was delighted with the event. I thought it would be something that many business owners and decision makers would be interested in, but the attendance was far greater than I expected. Furthermore, the follow-up has been incredible. I have already got twelve invitations to follow up, and have already got several meetings lined up.“
He continues “One attendee stated he has sat through dozens on webinars on Net Zero over the last 2 years and this was by far the best. He said it was extremely informative and simple to understand and he actually felt more knowledgeable after it and determined to get moving on actions than on any other he has attended.”
“That the Auditel carbon solutions can be delivered alongside our cost management and procurement value improvement programme, we can save organisations money by achieving best value in all areas of expenditure, and therefore the carbon management programme is being funded by money saved elsewhere within the business. Organisations are understandably extremely receptive to this offering!” Sean adds.
