Dream Doors continues its streak of award wins, collecting its latest trophy at the 2017 Franchise Marketing Awards (FMAs) in Birmingham. Awarded 'Best Online Marketing Campaign' this is the kitchen facelift company’s 9th win in the FMAs.
This latest accolade for Dream Doors’ franchisee support, marketing and customer satisfaction is its 40th commendation in franchising, and marks its 11th trophy win.
Company founder and Managing Director, Troy Tappenden, had this to say:
"We have always pushed the limits in franchisee support and marketing, so it’s fantastic to hear that we are being acknowledged for it once again. As always, I am incredibly proud of the progress made by the Dream Doors franchise network and our head office team. As the years go on, the incredible focus we have put into creating efficient marketing for the network is paying dividends."
The business is certainly no stranger to success. Starting out as a single showroom in Gosport owned and run by MD Troy Tappenden, Dream Doors has grown into a multi-million-pound franchise with almost 80 showrooms nationwide. Furthermore, its professional franchisee training and support has ensured that every Dream Doors showroom provides a high quality, expert service. This can be seen through the company’s nationwide average Checkatrade score of 9.6 out of 10.
Dream Doors franchisees have been thriving in recent years, with even brand-new recruits turning over in excess of £500,000 in a single year. This success can be largely attributed to the dedicated support provided by the franchisor and the head office team. In fact, in the last three years alone, Dream Doors has trebled its in-territory support and invested more in training its franchisees than at any other time since the company was launched, bringing the ratio of HQ staff to franchisee to 4:1.
Dream Doors’ online marketing campaigns have been recognised industry-wide, with franchisees benefitting from individually tweaked digital campaigns. These help ensure that each local showroom gains maximum exposure, attracting potential customers from throughout their region. There’s no denying Dream Doors’ online marketing campaigns work, and to the tune of at least £9 million in franchisee sales in 2016. Every campaign is spearheaded by head office, meaning that franchisees don’t have to lift a finger but, instead, gain the greatest return in marketing investment.
Dream Doors is recruiting new franchisees nationwide. No experience is required as this is a sales and management-driven franchise.

If you want to work for yourself and have more flexibility, I would recommend a Dream Doors franchise. Also it’s good to know that you can run your own business, but still have the back up of a national company.Matt Jones
The training and support has been fantastic and has really reinforced the fact that we made the right decision. The initial training was really helpful and there have been plenty of visits from the Franchise Support Manager to keep us on the right path.Helen Mahon
