How does the franchise work?

When you become a YogaBugs franchisee you will be awarded an exclusive territory for you and your team to work within (c50,000 children aged 2 ½ to 12 years). It will be your job to enrol current qualified YogaBugs and Yoga’d Up teachers and to recruit and train new staff.

The challenge then is to enlist a sufficient quantity and quality of schools and nurseries to host classes run by your teachers. Your return comes from class revenue and merchandise sales. To be successful you will need to keep a growing team of teachers as busy as possible!

Understanding YogaBugs and Yoga’d Up?

YogaBugs is creative, imaginative and fun yoga for children aged 2 ½ to 7 years! Yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques are woven together into fun stories and games. In the safety and familiarity of their school or amongst their friends, children can have wild adventures and go on incredible journeys. Children are always the heroes of their YogaBugs stories. Yoga’d Up offers Yoga to children aged 8 to 12 years old. These classes are structured to appeal to an age group who want to be physically challenged and entertained. Using fun themes, games and partner postures they are mentally guided through relaxation and visualisation. These ingredients help and support them through a time of pre-teen change and beyond to adolescence.

What does a Management Franchise involve?

As a Management Franchisee, you will be required to organise and run YogaBugs & Yoga’d Up classes in your own exclusive territory. You will take responsibility for all aspects of your business including:

• Building a team of teachers
• Running classes & other special events such as birthday parties
• Local advertising & marketing
• Finding appropriate venues
• Dealing with all enquiries from parents, schools, nurseries etc
• Collecting all class and registration fees
• Managing waiting lists and completing all necessary administration
• Developing merchandise sales

The Franchise Package

For now, the Franchise Fee is £9,900. You will be required to have additional funds available to finance the set up of the business. Further details on the finances package are supplied on application.

The franchise package is designed as an all encompassing start up kit including the following components:

• Sole rights to a territory in which to operate your Management Franchise (c50,000 children aged 2 ½ to 12 years).
• Use of the YogaBugs & Yoga’d Up Trademark, logo and business system.
• Comprehensive Business Opening Training & Support Package with In-depth Business Owners Manual.
• Use of bespoke software that integrates a state of the art Client Relationship Management, Financial Software and Intranet Facility
• Database of all Schools & Nurseries in the area.
• Unique pages on the YogaBugs website to promote the classes in your territory. (new site launch September 08)
• Merchandise starter kit.
• Teachers equipment kit and training of first three teachers incl.
• New class plans provided each term for teachers.
• Business stationery and promo starter kit.
