Providing the "Fita-Seal Service
You will be licensed and trained to provide a fully compliant, fully comprehensive range of seal replacements for over 95% of fridges and freezers to customers in your exclusive territory.  An on board management system will keep track of all your customers and will ensure they are automatically reminded on a regular basis about the service and your ability to provide it.

Environmental issues
It is a legal requirement to ensure all food is stored at a safe temperature.  If a seal is split or has become weak, the fridge or freezer can not maintain the correct temperature and the food is then at risk from contamination and failure on inspection by the EHO inspector.

The Market

In the UK businesses utilising fridges and freezers will generate a demand for an average of 6 replacement seals per year.  All of this is controlled by the Environmental Health Officers working for the local councils. 

Businesses have two choices, either they can wait to be caught with failed seals and risk closure or a fine, or they can have a proper due diligence program to deal with regular checking of the seals and taking of regular temperature readings to establish and provide evidence of compliance with the rules regarding handling of chilled or frozen foods.  We support the later.

The training and support

The training course is broken down into 2 key parts covering all aspects of the business and is at the core of our continued success:

• 4 day residential course covering administration, business management, health and safety, product and service features and benefits, ending with how to develop the business and operation
• Up to 5 days "in-field" training with either one of our development operatives or an experienced franchisee, ensuring you are confident and competent, ready to operate your business.
