2009 was a very strong year for Prestige Nursing, one of the UK’s leading companies in the £3.7BN Healthcare recruitment and Homecare services market. Interest in 2009 for the company’s franchise opportunity was at an all time high, and 7 new franchisees joined the network in the year. This takes the total number of franchisees for the Prestige franchise network to 12, working along side the 25 company owned branches.
In 2010, Prestige has modest growth plans growth plans for new franchisees and is looking at taking on a further 5 new franchisees. Pam Feltham, Franchise Manager, explains ‘’unlike other care businesses that just focus on just homecare, Prestige Nursing franchisees cover a range of healthcare sectors from homecare through to healthcare staffing, so the focus for us is not large numbers of new franchisees but quality people with the right attitude in the right location."
"We provide an awful lot of training and support in the start up phase to ensure that our franchisees our successful. Our key focus of 2010 is to work closely with the franchise network we have in place now and help them to achieve their 2010 goals’’
The growth of the franchise network has led the company to strengthen the franchise team still further with the appointment of Jenny Evans as its Franchise Support Manager for the Northern region.
Jenny joins Prestige armed with 10 years experience in commercial, public sector and healthcare recruitment both at an operational and management level. Pam Feltham, Franchise Manager for Prestige Nursing explains why Jenny was the ideal candidate.
“As a franchisor we pride ourselves on offering unlimited support to all our franchisees and in many cases this will involve practical help and advice, particularly in the critical start up period. Jenny has extensive experience of recruitment business start-up and also operational experience at both branch and regional management levels in the recruitment industry and having involved many of our franchisees in recruiting for this position, we know Jenny also has the endorsement of both our established and new franchisees and we believe that she will be very successful in this new role”
Jenny adds ‘’ I’m eager to get started working with both new and experienced franchisees to build and develop their businesses, ensuring each one is a success and is pleased to be working for such a highly regarded nursing and care agency.’’
