Horndean-based Recognition Express Southern went full speed ahead for Battlestar Africa, a team of adventure-seeking fundraisers, as soon as they were asked to provide customised T-shirts for the team.
Just three days before setting off from Hyde Park for Cameroon on The Adventurists Africa Rally, a gruelling fund-raising race across 10 countries and tough terrains, the team placed their order with Recognition Express who pulled out all the stops to make sure everything was ready in time.
The team of four men and one woman took just 19 days and one hour to finish in first place, and raise more than £4,000 for charities including Send a Cow, CWAF and Frank Water Projects.
“This has been a wonderful opportunity for us and we were thrilled to hear how well the team performed,” says Caroline Dinenage sales director of Recognition Express Southern. “Receiving customer orders and turning around personalised, promotional items in super-quick time is what we do.”
