ColourWheel welcomes another Franchise Partner

Ginette – our newest franchisee recently opened the doors to her classes in Horndean, Hampshire.

When we met with Ginette we were so excited that she had expressed interest in the business.  She is creative herself and had experience of running a business before having her daughter.  She was understandably a little nervous of making the leap but she has told us that she is delighted that she did.

Ginette says “Having run my own business before but spent the last 10 years bringing up a child, I was looking to return to work but found it hard to find something to suit my circumstances.

After researching many different franchise models but realising I wanted to stay in the creative sector, I chose ColourWheel because I felt they offered the right structure and balance for me to have an instant independent business but with the right level of help and support. Sarah and Carly are welcoming and friendly and inspired me with confidence.

We spent lots of time with Ginette when she joined us.  Carly, our Franchisee Support Director worked really hard to find her the perfect venue.  After weeks of searching we had a list of five venues that would work in terms of space, location and price.  We spent a happy day with Ginette visiting them all, but making time for a really nice lunch!  After we secured the perfect venue we started the recruitment of her teacher. 

Sarah, Founder of ColourWheel used her recruitment partner to advertise the role and then she first interviewed all the suitable candidates, she shortlisted four for Ginette to interview – we did this over one day and we were right there with her during the interviews. 

Once Ginette had made the difficult decision of who to offer, Sarah produced the self-employed contract of employment and sent out all the paperwork.  Once this was done we worked with Ginette on marketing her classes. 

“Setting up my classes with their guidance and expertise was a smooth and seamless process, and highly enjoyable at the same time. They were in touch throughout and put in hours of work behind the scenes.”

Ginette worked really hard but this paid off and she opened her doors with full classes.  It all came together perfectly, Ginette was very nervous about her first day of classes but again we were with her to make sure that she and her teach were not on their own.  “After all the hard work and build up at the end of my first amazing class was an emotional one!”

Ginette had attended the nearest ColourWheel classes to her so that she could learn how to run the classes with an experienced franchisee.  This class training is so important. 

Ginette is part of the franchisee Whatsapp group where the partners can share their experiences, ask questions and generally chat about their classes.  It’s a group that provides the partners with the company of others doing the same job but in different areas of the country. 

Ginette has our help and support for whatever she needs but she also has the comfort of knowing that she is part of a larger network of franchisee partners who all support each other.
