A mother of two, Carolina Fernandes, has bought a specialist photography service to Richmond and Twickenham, by opening a Photography for Little People franchise in the region.
Carolina started her career in Portugal but when she came to London she found Photography for Little People:
"Photography for Little People will allow me to follow my dream and spend lots of time with my family, so I knew straight away that it was exactly what I was looking for."
Established in 2005, Photography for Little People is the UK’s leading family fine art mobile portrait studio. It specialises in maternity, newborn and family photography, as well as offering beautiful impressions of children’s hands and feet – the youngest customer being just six hours old!
"I am very excited to be offering this high quality photography and impressions service, and I hope this will become a thriving franchise in Richmond and Twickenham. The great thing about the service is that the photo shoot takes place in the comfort of my client’s own home, perfect for new Mums and families with active toddlers. I just love capturing the precious moments during my photo shoots of little ones, creating something special that will be treasured forever. It is very important to me to do what I love."
Photography for Little People was founded by mother and daughter team; Jan Massey and Melanie Kemp. The company quickly grew from renting a 'barrow' in Gateshead’s Metro Centre shopping complex, to taking over a high profile unit there and has since photographed thousands of children.
In 2007, Jan and Melanie were named North East Entrepreneur Woman in Retail and spurred on by the popularity of the service the mother and daughter team took the decision to franchise Photography for Little People.
Jan and Melanie have established a beautiful business that specialises in capturing those special moments in time both through their fine art photography and their unique impressions. The company now covers the UK and has expanded into Hong Kong and Singapore.
All franchisees are proud to be a part of the Photography for Little People family and are trained to an exceptionally high standard, which reflects in their images, and bespoke pieces made for all our clients.
Carolina joined the Photography for Little People family in December 2015 and has successfully completed her training within the company and will now be offering her services throughout her exclusive territory.
"Training was fantastic. Melanie was patient in explaining both the technical stuff and styling in a way that was clear and easy to remember, which was great given there were lots of new things to learn."
