Andrew Heaton from Ovenu Chester is eyeing up expansion in his milestone year after experiencing continued growth and strong demand for his services.
Andrew Heaton, owner of oven valeting firm, Ovenu Chester, is considering employing a sub-contractor to cope with the increased demand; in what will be his 11th year in business.
Mr Heaton, who completed more than 700 oven valets in 2015, attributes the positivity to the burgeoning property market, with the majority of work coming from repeat business and recommendations.
"A lot of my business activity comes from existing customers and their recommendations, and 2015 has proved to be one of my most successful years to date. Over the course of the year I served many people who either have recently moved home or who were preparing their property for the visit of potential buyers during visits.
During the busy winter period I was reluctantly having to rearrange work for the New Year, so if the same volume of enquiries continues, I will be in the market for a full-time sub-contractor to meet this increased demand."
Mr Heaton added:
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in business so far, which has been challenging, but equally as rewarding, and I am hoping for more of the same in 2016. Hopefully I can continue to grow the firm and as a result, create employment opportunities in the future."
Ovenu Chester provides its environmentally-friendly service to homes and businesses in Chester and the Flintshire area, including Mold, Buckley, Connah’s Quay, Flint, Broughton, Christleton, Mickle Trafford, Waverton, Tarvin, Tattenhall, Kelsall , Farndon and all surrounding areas.
Rik Hellewell, Managing Director and Founder of Ovenu, said:
"Andrew is one of the longest serving Ovenu franchisees and I am delighted that his small business is performing so well. He is a prime example of someone who is dedicated and taken the plunge into business, with the added support of a franchise network behind him, and is reaping the rewards. I would like to wish him all the very best."
Ovenu is a franchise network made up of more than 100 businesses owned by men and women working throughout the UK.
The Ovenu valeting process involves dismantling key components of an oven such as the door, interior panels, fan and shelves and placing them into design-registered tank equipment, which uses safe, non-caustic products to clean the oven parts. The whole process takes around three to four hours and leaves the oven, hob and exterior in immaculate condition.
