Concept Building Solutions UK is one of the pioneers of buildings insurance claims management and the longest standing subsidiary of the Service Solutions Group. Established in 2002 as a franchise organisation Concept Building Solutions developed a national franchise network of insurance claims managers.
Following private equity investment in 2008 the Service Solutions Group launched and developed a number of additional companies covering a variety of fields. Companies in the Group include Tradesmen Solutions, Service Solutions Direct and Local Assist. There are also a number of brands within Concept including Remedial Solutions, Broker Solutions and Let property Assist that together provide a range of services from insurance claims management to retail installations and emergency policy provision. The range of companies within the Group complement one another and give Concept franchisees an opportunity to work within a variety of sectors for an array of clients that span from private individuals to blue chip corporations.

Over the years the Group has organically grown and diversified as new opportunities presented themselves. Each member of the Group utilises the same contractor base of experienced, qualified contractors which are vetted and accredited centrally through a bespoke online system . This strong contractor base coupled with the technical knowledge and expertise at Head office allows the Group to provide a range of services to a varied client base. Our franchise network profits from being able to receive work from all parts of the Group with the support and backup from Head Office.
The benefits come in many forms and range from being able to call upon the experience and knowledge of our directly employed insurance surveyors, who can assist with larger value insurance claims scoping and tender appraisals, through to receiving work from its sister companies such as bathroom installations for high street retailers. We also have partnerships with industry leading specialists to allow us to provide services such as damp proofing and condensation treatments. As a Concept franchisee and part of the wider Service Solutions Group our franchisees have the opportunity to build a successful business, providing building services and claims management across the insurance, remedial and retail markets.
We have taken the difficult decision to increase the price, from the 1st October, in order to achieve 2 things. Firstly, the wide range of services our franchisees can potentially provide mean that the cost of bringing a new franchisee onboard is considerably higher than it once was. Secondly, we have seen a marked increase in our client base and service offerings, through the Group, which has resulted in significant interest from potential investors in the CBS franchise. We are looking to recruit the right candidates that are willing to make an investment in a business that can provide multiple revenue streams and can handle significant volume across the services we provide. This requires a high level of investment and the new price of the franchise reflects this.
