How often do you work? 3 days a week from 10am-3.30pm plus admin in the evenings.
Perfectly. Within reason I can arrange my classes around my child care provision PLUS spend quality time with my children during the week.
Approximately 20-25 hours a week allowing for classes and admin.
In various class venues such as halls, nurseries, schools and children’s centres. All the admin is done at home.
Yes. A car is vital to the job in order to carry around mats. props etc and also allow easy movement between multiple venues.
Yes I do with my local edition of Families and Primary Times. Both of which have proven to be worthwhile.
I was looking for a Tatty Bumpkin class for my children. I contacted head office after looking on their website and seeing the opportunity to buy into a franchise.
Yes. Substantial training is provided and perhaps even more importantly, moral support in bundles!!!
Getting yourself motivated, after a long day, to sit down and log onto your emails is a challenge. But I often find that 5 minutes later I am fired up and enthused and tapping away!
Definitely. You have to be prepared to throw yourself in and keep smiling regardless. Tatty Bumpkin was born from a nurturing, loving mother and that comes through in the classes. You either get it or you don’t. If you do get it then you cannot fail to make a success of it. Within 6 months of starting the franchise the financial rewards have already started to be realized. I am starting to take on teachers to expand the business which will put me 6 months ahead of my original business plan.
