Interview for Mini Monkey Gym Franchise - Ami Williams
I joined the network in August 2015.
Life was very busy working 3 jobs!
I was looking for a business to have of my own so googled franchises working with children and Mini Monkey Gym caught my eye so I contacted Penny for more information.
I currently work 3 days a week running 8 classes. I also do quite a few parties, keeping me busy most weekends.
I work whilst my children are at nursery and school which is great. Childcare is fine at the weekends as grandparents can help out and it’s only for a couple of hours whilst doing parties.
Penny is very approachable, helpful and knowledgeable and if I need any help or advice Penny is there when I need her. It’s nice to know you are not alone but still running a business to fit around my home life.
I love it, working with children is like therapy to me, they give me so much pleasure to see them learn through play and being happy having fun. It lets me be there for my own children when they need me.
No down sides as such, more for me I find it hard to switch off from work but that’s just my personality, I love it!
Launching in September last year, meeting lots of new families and training at Mini Monkey Gym HQ was good fun. Seeing the children at my classes and parties enjoying themselves and having lots of fun events to do with Mini Monkey Gym. Nice to have good feedback about what I do as it’s not a job, it’s a pleasurable lifestyle which all my family enjoy as well.
It took me a while to find a franchise business that I felt would work, but as soon as I met Penny and found out about Mini Monkey Gym, I knew it was the one for me. Wonderful very personal support from head office Penny is behind you every step of the way.
