Eve Whitmore talks about her decision to join Kiddleydivey.
Kiddleydivey would like to introduce their new Franchisee – Eve Whitmore. Eve has recently joined the Kiddleydivey Franchise team and says..
Hi, my name is Eve and the little girl in the photo with me is my 'mini me' daughter Emily. I live on the outskirts of Shrewsbury with my husband Leon and our children Emily and Oliver.
I am a Shropshire girl born and bred, enjoying music from an early age, singing in the choir and playing the double bass in the orchestra.
After a long career in sales and also as a horse-riding instructor, I found Kiddleydivey to be the perfect combination of meeting new and fascinating people on a daily basis, while revelling in the opportunity to express my love of music as a brilliant tool that can profoundly help others.
Every day I visit care homes across Shropshire and Mid Wales where I am lucky enough to experience the positive effects that our therapeutic music sessions have on the lives of the residents. It is an incredibly special feeling to witness elderly people, some suffering from advanced dementia, transforming from uncommunicative to animated, restoring their identity.
We know that there is a huge difference between being elderly and feeling elderly…. With Kiddleydivey therapeutic music sessions, we like to think we can capture glimpses of people’s lives before dementia and give them back some happiness.

I wanted to be able to do the school run every morning and most evenings. I wanted to be able to work 3-4 days a week so that I would still have time to spend with my children.
