Hear from Zoe as she explains why she gave up her full time corporate job and became a Boogie Beat franchisee.
I absolutely love being a part of the Boogie Beat music & movement franchise! It is a fantastic way to run your own business with amazing support from head office. I am able to run Boogie Beat around my family whilst earning a good income at the same time.
I started researching franchises when I returned to a full time corporate job and my little boy was a year old. I was finding it very difficult to juggle working in a full time job around my family and was looking for an alternative career. I came across Boogie Beat music & movement!.
After a lot of researching and speaking to Nicky at Head Office, I decided to visit a Boogie Beat class in Cheddar. When I first attended a Boogie Beat session I instantly fell in love with the traditional stories and beautiful classical fairy tales which are structured around a dance and music concept.
Not only are the classes fun and lively, they also create a lovely warm environment for children to learn key skills and express themselves at the same time.
When looking for classes for my little boy to attend, I found that Boogie Beat ticks all the boxes: it’s high energy and exciting, teaches skills such as counting, sharing, hand/eye coordination whilst helping to develop confidence. As a mum, I know the importance and benefits to you and your children of finding and attending a fun and educational pre-school class.
I get an incredible amount of job satisfaction out of running my own business and in providing fun and educational classes for parents, carers and their little ones! It really is amazing and very fulfilling. The training I received from Nicky and Lisa prior to starting my own classes and workshops was absolutely fantastic. They are so supportive, encouraging and provide you with everything you need to start your own business. I left the training feeling very motivated, inspired and very, very excited to be a part of Boogie Beat music & movement!
There have definitely been a great many highs of starting my own Boogie Beat music & movement business and also some trickier times too. Starting any new business is always going to require a lot of hard work. However I can honestly say I am so glad I was brave enough to just go for it and become part of the Boogie Beat team! Now seven months in, I am really starting to turn a corner and getting a lot of bookings with nurseries, parties and my class numbers are increasing too which is great.
My advice to anyone considering starting their own Boogie Beat business is work hard, persevere and enjoy it all! You are in very safe hands with Nicky and Lisa at Boogie Beat music & movement. They know what they are doing and they really do have the magic formula which sets Boogie Beat apart from other types of children’s classes!
